Have aquired a .22 pistol with 4" barrel, 6 shot. Right side says PSF xxx
Left side ; Model E15 cal .22 LR-F.I.E. Miami Fl. Made in Italy.
Just looking for history and maybe manufacture date.
Serial # 23994

PSF was the importer/distributor, made by Tanfoglio Brothers AKA Tamarmi. Gun also imported by FIE/Excam/EIG. manufactured between 1962 and early 1970's. Not a high dollar Item, if in excellent condition 125 to 150. Hope that helps.

FIE was the importer. The pistol was made in Italy, as noted.

Actually, PSF is the Italian proof for smokeless powder.
Model E15 cal .22 LR
This is an aluminum framed single-action revolver. They sold for about $75 brand new in the early 1980s. FIE disappeared in the early 1990s. Value is maybe $40-$50 if it is in working condition.

FIE was the company that imported these into the US. They were made in Brescia Italy, POSSIBLY by the Tanfoglio Company. FIE is no longer in business- the E-15 single action revolvers seemed to be from the 1960s-1970s. They do not have a high value. Some repair parts are available from gunpartscorp.com.

Thank you all

I appreciate the considered replies. This pistol was in a group of guns I got from a friend who was cleaning out her parents house after they passed away. You are correct in that it is an aluminum frame and not high quality. It looked to be unfired until I ran 6 rounds through it just to hear it go bang. I think you could stick a dime between the cylinder and the barrel.
It will go in the collection.
