Would it be legal to boycott all posts pertaining to Smith & Wesson?

Just curious------what would happen if we boycotted all POSITIVE posts regarding suck-up and whimper handguns? Do ya think Janet Nero and the SA would get upset?

I am not a lawer...but boycotts are as American as free speech. No compony should be forced to deal with another... Even under the existing law as I know it to be sued Smith would have to prove that these Corporations/groups/entities WANTED TO HARM S&W.

With the restrictions that S&W has put on ITS OWN PRODUCTS... that puts the burdon of proof squarly on their shoulders! Not many gun stores/distributors take kindly the terms that Smith has laid down for them...Thus we have good cause to Not buy, period..

Another bonus is Smith's dismal Qaulity and safety record in their Auto's...another good reason not to buy... "Hey man I don't sell unsafe guns to my coustomers" See my thread on S&W SAFTEY WARNING!

It seemes that evey man in America needs to become a lawyer to defend what was considered noble a decade ago... (hey Remember that Tuna boycott? Now our staple diet has even less nutrients with the lack of certian dolphin cartalige/enzymes!

I'm generally for boycotting anti-gun manufacturers, and have no love for S&W.

That being said, I think boycotting posts is too close to book-burning.

Discussion is hard on this subject now because of their sell-out, but people should still vent and counter-vent on it, IMHO.

LadyDJ--

Your .41 S&W was purchased P.S.O. ("Pre-Sell-Out"), was it not?

Brag away. It is the status quo that we detest, not the way things were.
