i've seen post-bans labeled as pre-bans at gunshows. they even had thumbholes.

i've seen a $310 to an ffl sar-1 (american parts kit ak) for $1094 at a gunshop. was in his 'pre-ban' rack that hasn't turned over since 1994.

i called a guy who had a sign next to his "fn" saying it was a pre-ban styer damilier! price tag of $1700. upon looking at it i asked him (exactly when did hesse mfg a pre-ban receiver?) he told me to get lost even better yet go build 1 in my own garage! there is a guy who was banned from the gun shows in colo. for a few reasons, who i have heard as a call-in to talk shows saying "he warned the promoters about questionable sales" as being their downfall, when in fact he was a major seller of the "this is a pre ban gun" line. even though it had MAK 90 on the receiver of the gun!!!

Well, MAK90s ARE preban...pre the 94 ban, just not pre the 89 ban. ;)
Anyway, worst deal I ever saw was at the last show here in Lakeland. Some moron had Norinco AR15 120 round drums on his table for FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS! I was so shocked I didn't even bother to talk to him...I mean, you can buy preban Beta C Mags for a hundred less than that!

mak 90's are post ban. they were imported w/out bayo/lug and either no threaded barrel or with a muzzle nut tack welded. also they were thumbhole stocked. this guy was pawning them off with p/grips and buttstocks and also putting sidefolders on them and then saying they were pre-ban! and no they did not have any us mfg parts as, none were offered to the public 2-4yrs ago. hell he was even incl a baynet, and saying the lug was either worn or damaged but it would work only be a loose fit!!.
caveat emptor

Colt pre-ban mags $90.
Colt pre-ban HBar $3500.00
Same table.

By practice it is meant the participation and acceptance of the Four Noble Truths: suffering, adapting, non-attachment, and practicing the Dharma. First comes suffering. When followers of the Way suffer, they should recall that in the countless previous incarnations they have been deterred from the path, sometimes becoming trivial and angry even without cause. The suffering in this life is a punishment, but also an opportunity to exercise what I have learned from past lives. Men and gods are equally unable to see where a seed may bear fruit. I accept this suffering as a challenge and with an open heart. In recognizing suffering, you enter onto the path to the Way.

Used Colt series 80 LWC, w/old stlyle low profile fixed sights. Finish maybe 85% condition. Recoil spring cut nearly in half, w/front edge of slide rails peened badly as a consequence. Pawnbroker refused to budge from $450 asking price! I still see that gun, in his case at gun shows, over three years later.

The worst deal I've seen at a gun show was the $2 hot dog. I'm packing my own lunch from now on. :)

How much do the folks ask for a Glock 17
hi-cap in the US now? 80 US-$? Betamags (new)
cost about 230 US-$, the cause of the price
raise being the bad exchange rates (for us).

A G-17 mag costs some 20 US-$ here. Straight.

Funny though, they all read 'for government use only'
on the back.

The worst offers are still the old police trade in guns -
SIG P-225 for some 400 US-$, worn. And only with a 9-shot
magazine.
I always take a little pity on these poor guys and gals
living in the US when buying mags, evil assault rifles or
even a semi-auto MP 5.

However, I envy them for their liberal carry laws now. Here
it deteriorated badly.
