World's Ugliest Sights

My brother (SilentHitz) bought a Ruger MKI from Ken (WildAlaska) and it came in today. He told me they were joking about how ugly the sights were on the phone, etc

Talk about your FUBAR'd Ninja sights!???!?!

****! They weren't joking! So just out of curiosity... I looked it up.... and behold!!!! You know how people say "look it up .... and it'll have your picture by it, etc etc.... "

Wow. Looks like....wow. Looks like a lot of movement in that sight. Hopefully it works so well you kinda forget what it looks like.

I will never know LOL, they won't be on there long enough to find out, nor will the mag. release which is also plastic. This little classic will be restored to original, which will be very easy...it has 98-99% of it's original blueing.

In all fairness, I gotta tell ya, Ken got it that way. Just wanted it outta his shop so bad, I got a killer price on it.:D Only going to cost about $25 in parts to restore it...I'm sure who-ever put them ugly plastic parts on it spent more than that LOL.:p
 
I had one once with extras I installed. Big thumbrest target grips and a 30MM red dot scope on top. Well it would sure put them in the red dot all day long on target, but it was not exactly something you could put in a holster and carry. At least it was not irreversibly altered.
 
I don’t see that’s so bad with the sights on that Ruger,,,,,,,
The rear sight looks high enough for point of aim at 400 yards.:D
