I noticed how he has to drop the shot into the target at those distances. Are you sure about his choking, Oneounce? I would think that far out he might go with an even tighter and perhaps a custom choke. Whatever he used, he didn't seem to change them as he moved futher back. I suppose he may have switched from one barrel with a full to the other by switching barrels.
Wasn't the trap set to toss the target straight up? It's a little easier that way. We have a scaled-down version of that presentation at our 5-stand. Many shooters wait until the target floats, for an instant, as it crests.That's actually even farther than 130 counting in height and how far the clay traveled.
I thought I heard him say that he was switching to #5s for the long shot. By standard load, he probably meant that he was shooting factory loads, not something specially loaded for the demonstration.If they are anything close to normal trap loads the correction at that range would be so difficult at that range I can hardly imagine it.
