Today I resecued a NIB GP100 3" short shroud from layaway! The very nice sales rep. threw in a box of ammo(Fiocchi 142 gr FMJTC) and some range time(VERY nice indoor range).
Abridged Range report: I need MORE practice..
...nuff said. Back to the gun, at 7 yards, the paper looked like some kid with a hole puncher had his way with the paper. Little to no muzzle flash from the Italian diet, and having fired 50 rounds down range, the gun was not very dirty. I pinched my second joint on my index finger while shooting DA.....and I have a nice little blood blister.
All in all this was a very pleasant buying experince and I am confident that this gun will serve me well for years to come.
P.S. This gun will be getting a trigger job for sure. I have noticed alot of traffic reguarding the GP100 3 inch models, seems there is some growing interest in this model.
