Vote is in. Internet taxation has been stayed by an OVERWHELMING vote until 2011.

Internet Tax Freedom Act - Vote Passed (405-2, 25 Not Voting)

The House passed legislation that would extend the moratorium on Internet access taxes through November 2011.

Remember when they wanted to charge a nickel for each email sent? lol

Unfortunately, I see this as simply a way for them to get more people to sign up so that when they do decide to tax it, it will be a HIT to everyone. There are still households around without computers & internet. They want to get internet into all homes and then SOCK-IT-TO us.

The nickle per email thing was only a rumor.

Glad to see most any anti-tax bill.
