Hot diggity dog and pass the possum!

Order of business:

1) Tomorrow - make copies.
2) Sign said copies and send them out.

My first purchase will be an M-1 Garand... delivered to my door.

I think of it as a minor suspension of the 1968 GCA.

Hmmm... so much  stuff... what next, what next... :)

Just as good as getting guns, you can get dealer discounts for gun stuff. Send a copy of your FFL to MidwayUSA and Brownells. You'll be happy you did! This is where all the dealers at gunshows get their stuff, and you can now get it for the same price!!!!

Please, tell us more about a C&R FFL license. The good, the bad and the ugly. Record keeping requirements? How long to get the license? What's required? What's the downside? Etc.

Thanks. Regards from AZ

The only down side to a C&R FFL is the paperwork. You must log in each C&R eligible gun in a bound book. And log out each one you get rid of. The BATF has the right to audit you if they wish. I haven't heard of this happening, but they do have the right.

It costs $30 to get a C&R and takes up to 90 days for it to be issued. Call the nearest BATF branch to have the form sent to you. It really is easy to get it, and VERY worth it. Even if you don't like C&R guns, the discounts really add up.

Here is a link to get you started: http://www.mosin-nagant.net/CRFFL.html

One site I HIGHLY recommend for anyone thinking about obtaining a FFL C&R is http://www.cruffler.com/

CRFFL - Sounds like Cruffle. Dedicated to all of us type 03 license holders.

As Gino mentioned, sending a copy of the license to Brownells will let you get items at trade discount.
