wood grips/kahr mk-9

How do you like them there checkered wood grips for your mk-40?

Are they an inprovement over the stock? are they worth the $$

Anybody else have woods on a baby kahr?

I like mine just fine. every bit as functional as the plastic ones and a lot nicer. Mine required minor fitting.
