I can get this ammo in 9mm for 5.00 a box. Is it any good, how clean is it? This ammo is steel case, berdan primed, 115gr. copper FMJ and is non-corrosive, non-reloadable. Muzzle velocity is 1,100fps.
I see you are new here, So I will be nice. Do a search on wolf ammo and you will get many opinions. Some like it some don't.
Happy hunting!

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
Wolff is Russians premier commercial ammo
and has a good reputation for quality. Its every bit as good as S&B with laquer on primers and cannular for waterproofing.
I use Wolf in my SKS and haven't ever had a bad round. In addition, it doesn't foul the weapons and is easy to clean. I did a lot of investigating before I purchased Wolf for my rifle (I buy it for .10 a round!) and didn't find one investigation that would make me not use it. It is NOT corrosive as some claim.
Rome, I bought some for my AK for 8.5 cents a round! I wish I had gotten more than 1K!!!

And on the 8th day, GOD shot an AK-47. He Saw that it was good, said that it was good, and it was good. He then went directly to work retrofitting his Son's white horse with one!
Fired over a thousand rounds of the Russian 9x19 through my Glock with only one jam.......However, the rangemaster at the indoor range I shoot at in the colder monthes, told me I couldn't shoot it at his range. Steel bullets
Good stuff for the money. I have shot a few hundred in my SKS as well. Most of it around these days is non-corrosive, maybe some of the real old surplus stuff might be corrosive but you will probably never see it around. Check out http://www.wolfammo.com/ for the horses mouth input and if you want to know about some of the history and surplus check out http://www.hitach.com/advice.html (more about Wolf rifle ammo, but interesting)

First there was the Heaven and Earth then there was the Glock 20
I shot a lot of the Wolf 9x19 through my Glocks, but stopped after some discussions I saw on www.glocktalk.com.
Seems the theory is that the steel cases can damage your extractor. I haven't had that happen to me yet, but the only failures to go into battery I've ever had have been w/ Wolf.
