wolf buckshot

Buy a coupla boxes & pattern it out of your barrel/s, at various ranges & see what you think it'll do for you & your preferences.

Sounds like a really decent buy, but, if it doesn't do what you think it should, it's not for you - no matter the cost.

I ran across some 12 ga. PMC Brenneke slugs at $1.99/5-pack .... patterned 'em & am absolutely estatic - bought a bunch.

The PMC 00 bucks sucked for all my barrels - passed.

Only way to know is to buy a few, pattern & decide based on results.

My gun will shoot as different as my wife is to yours. Oly way to know is to test it out ....

Yes, I have shot about 100rds. of the "00" Buck and found it preformed like Brenneke "00" buck from my Benelli. I used what I had left at the last 3 Gun Match I competed in. It worked well.

I saw it online for 1.50 and went to the gun store and they wanted $3.00 for that price I could get some federal, but I did buy some of the birdshot 25rds for 3.49

Brenneke slugs don't come close to rem or win slugs when throwing them out up to 200 yards,,with rem/win can hit torso @ 200 with out much hold over

while Joe doesnt think much of Brenneke slugs in his shotgun, the shoot rings around Foster slugs in both my Browning and in my Remington WingMaster. The Mossberg will shoot either equally well. Go figure.

I use the 3" 00 buck

in my Mossberg for HD...Kicks like h**l...but it spreads out quickly (which is what I want), and informal testing(on dead trees) shows it'll make hamburger out of most anything in its path. I also use 9mm and 7.62x39 Wolf, never a problem. YMMV

Thanx for the tip on the Wolf buck - I will pick some up and try it out.

PMC makes some good cheap buck too.

Wally World has the cheapest slugs I have ever found - 15 packs of Winchester rifled slugs - $5.99.

"PMC makes some good cheap buck too.'

They do, it always goes bang!, but you may want to pettern some. I did, in several sgotguns, barrels & chokes. Never did I see anything that would blow smoke up my skirt.

I passed with their buckshot, but did pick up several hundred of their (PMC) Brenneke slugs.

YMMV - I hope so, 'cause it is inexpensive.

I will have to check out the wally world slugs.

I like the wolf rifle ammo for my mini 14 but that gun definitely isn't picky about what it eats.
