Wobbly trigger group on an 1187 Police

We have a "scatterized" 1187 Police. The trigger group seems rather wobbly and I can see space between the part and the receiver on each side of it. Can anything be done to fix that? I got replacement pins before realizing how undersized the part is. Does function fine but the fit could be better...or is it stuck the way it is now?

I have a used 870 that is the same way. There is little to be done except to "fit" it which is nothing more than a little squeeze on the receiver. However......
I do not recommend this as you could affect the function of the gun.
I suspect that there is a special tool or something that will allow you to do this without crushing the receiver or maybe just some special training/skill. Maybe you could drop it off at your local smith?
An alternative is to swap trigger groups until you find one that fits better. I have chosen to ignore mine. I did buy another used trigger group but I've yet to get around to test fitting it. It is on my spare 870 so it's not hard to forget.

My 870 was the same way, until I brought it to a Remington gunsmith and he had a press of some sought and narrowed the receiver so the trigger group would fit in there with no play.
I believe it cost 10 or 15 dollars.
