Wives Have No Faith

I bought a laser-blaster for dry fire practice (shoots a red dot when the trigger clicks) that inserts into the barrel of the gun. Of course, I practice in the TV room so I can watch some shows. I set up a "target" on the wall with a small piece of scotch tape that I drew a black circle on about the size of a dime. Then I practiced drawing and firing to see how accurately I could hit it.

My wife gets home from work and sits down on the couch not even phased by my dry fire practicing (I do it frequently). But then she notices the small black dot on the wall I am aiming at. Without a word she walks over... looks closely at it..... then goes around and looks at the OTHER side of the wall, and then comes back in and sits back down without saying a word.

ME: "You thought I shot a hole in the wall, didn't you."

HER: "Yeah."

:D

atleast yours is a dot mines a real hole , oops!:D (pelletgun shooting at a mouse) but don't have a wife and girlfriend has no financial interest in house . so I coiuld practice live fire with a 12 gauge If I didn't mind doing the drywall , Have you tried X-ring rubber bullets and a trap they work great !:)especially on mice!

Man! If I DID shoot a hole in the wall...

..I'd repair it before she came home! (We need a "hangman's noose" icon for posts like this.) Of course, with my luck, I'd probably shoot the TV or the china cabinet which contains her $100.00 apiece dinner plates.

KR (Gives me the "willies" just to think about it.)

My only experienced AD involved a friend, me & his shotgun. While cleaning/clearing his Mossberg, he discharged the weapon & put a MEAN hole in family room/master bedroom wall. There was no repairing the hole before the misses got home because the deputies were still laughing at him when she returned home :D
