Witness? Why so similar looking to CZ?

Clone

The Wintness/Tanfoglio like the IMI Jericho is a clone of the CZ75. It's not a 100% clone as their are some mechanical differences between them.

You'll find fans of the CZ and the clones here, both should work well. The much ballyhooed CZ quality control has let me down twice so I wouldn't spend my money on them. A couple of Tanfoglios I tried worked without incident. My favorite is the IMI Jericho because of the grip and full length slide/frame fit. YMMV.

I would not trade

my CZ-75 for an Italian (or any) clone. It is durable as a rock and deadly accurate and the best 9mm buy on the gun market (Makarov owners remain seated).

It is polymer coated OVER parkerizing, to give you an idea of the detail employed in design and manufacturing.

I urge you to shoot a CZ before you decide.

Regards.

I do own a CZ. Only one though. A CZ97b. I was just curious as to why Witness guns look so similar to CZs. I was also curious about any differences of the two brands.
