Would appreciate info on the possibility of using a witness polymer compact magazine in a polymer full sized version. I have been studying their frame dimensions and they seem to be the same. Am referring to the witness P force models. Hoping for your comments/help. Thank you !

I just got a polymer compact .45. It has a "grip extension" at the bottom of the magazine. From the looks of the poly full-size in the EAA catalog (my dealer didn't have one in stock) it looks as if this extension would keep you from using the compact magazine. According to the catalog you can use a full size in the compact though.
Anyone know if the poly and steel guns use the same magazine? Any good aftermarket ones for the poly compact? Thanks.

I believe you are out of luck buddy. I believe the frame dimensions are different for both models. I haven't looked at them side-by-side.. but I believe the compact is shorter by at least a half inch. That being true (as I think it is), what you're gettin' at won't work. Sorry.

I bought a factory mag for a Witness 9x19 and it fits my Witness PS (poly) 9x19. However.. I have noticed that with this mag, the slide release requires considerable more pressure than with the older mag.. I have yet to figure it out.. but its not enough that it bothers me. Someone posted a link to a company that had good prices on Witness mags.. for the life of me I can't remember the URL. You can probably find it if you do a search for either Witness or CZ/75 in the past week or so.

Kamakazi, what is the difference between the P-S series and the P series-full size? The catalog shows both, and I can see some very slight differences on the frame of the PS, also see that is isn't available in 10mm or .45. Specs look to be identical or very similar.
