Witness Elite Limited 3rd Range Firing

I bought the Limited because it is drilled and tapped for a bridge to use optics; and bridges are easy to come by. For the first session, I used the iron sights. It was accurate!

Put a Burris Fastfire 3 on the bridge. Can't believe the difference in accuracy. I usually find the red dots blur on me, which is a problem when shooting at a dot just over a 1/2 inch in diameter. Shooting at a 1 inch bull at 10 or 15 yards; the blurring doesn't matter.

Even shooting at 25 yards is easy; I'm not picky at 25 yards. If the entire string is in the 5 inch target, I'm happy.:)

My lumbar is bothering me today, so I'm using hydrocodone to temper it. When the drug wears off, I'll post a couple of photos, including the Limited.

Nice! I can't stomach the looks of an optical sight on a handgun but I can only imagine how fantastic they are for shooting. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Caliber of the pistol?

SEVENS, it's a 9mm. I'm not fond of the looks, either. They look better mounted where the rear sight normally resides. But, at my age, most iron sights are difficult for me to use.

As promised, the Witness Elite Limited 9mm with a bridge for optics with a Burris Fast Fire 3 along with the target. The top and bottom targets are at 10 yards, fast fire; the middle target is 25 years, slow fire.

With the iron sights, the 10 yards groups would be a little more open and the 25 yard target would be lucky to have three rounds in it.
