Wingmaster LC v/s Express

I`m about to buy a double barrel and I realize that I get deeply in love :D off my 870 express .... its barrel broke down late on this season (not exactly , the ring that joint barrrel & mag tube detach from barrel) ...the thing now i decide that have to got it back on game....

The question is it`s worthy the Wingmaster LC barrel? did balance change significantly?? (never handled one) or just repair that joint & keep using the express barrel?
 
Assuming the barrel length is the same, any change in weight of the barrel will be insignificant. As said before, a used 870 Express barrel is cheap and available. Check the used section of this or other sites.
 
The light contour barrels will be about 1/2 lb lighter, so yes it makes a big difference in how the gun handles and balances. It will change a 26" barreled gun from a 7 1/4 lb gun to a 6 3/4lb gun. It depends on what you want. Some people like the lighter weight guns for quicker handling, others want more weight for better follow through.

Not sure I would go LC on an Express though, You can probably buy an new Express shotgun for what a LC barrel will cost and the LC barrels have the highly polished blue finish vs the matte finish on an Express so the finish on the barrel will not match the rest of the gun. They look great on the Wingmasters though.
