Windicator 38 spl. minor problem.

Have a new Windicator snub 38 spl revolver. Shot 50 rounds for about 5 times. Noticed last week (after 4 times) the pin just under the cylinder release was sticking out about 3/16 inch. Called EAA and the gunsmith said he never heard of a pin coming out "by itself". Banged it in and went shooting again.
After another 50 rounds, saw the pin was starting to come out again, about 1/16 inch. AND, another pin on the right side just above the trigger guard was also out about 1/16 inch.
Reset them, of course.
Does anybody have any ideas to correct this ? (Or just keep resetting ?)

Thanks

Are they a push fit to put them back in?
Or do they require hammer and punch?
If you get desperate, here's a cure I used back when I was a kid on a .32 breaktop revolver with loose pins.
I replaced them with a piece of nail, of suitable diameter and slightly longer, with right angle bends at both ends.
They stayed put.
Ugly but effective.

If you don't want the pleasure of EAA customer service, you could VERY CAREFULLY take a dimple center punch and place a small dimple at the edge of the pin; That should hold it in.

thanks all for your quick replies -

did check with Eaa gunsmith after many calls. His reaction was " never was aware of pins coming out from normal usage".

Saw gunsmith at LGS. He counterpunched pins. We'll have to see what happens.

Thanks again.
