What's the consensus on the Winchester Super X2?
Also is it better to have a reliable well built Semi-auto than a cheap Over /Under?

One of the best gas autos on the market.

I'm more partial to the Beretta 391 series for an autoloader, but many will chime in with others perhaps.

It depends on what you use it for. In my opinion I'd rather have a good auto than an economy O/U. It will resell better and more than likely last much longer with little or no problems.

I think the X2 is one of the best made right now, and the best in 3.5" chamberings. If I wasn't shooting an X2 I would be shooting a Beretta. My X2 and the ones my buddies have are dead solid reliable and durable. I REALLY like the X2.

A good auto is far better to have than a cheap O/U.

if its the gun I"m thinking, with the teal blue finish on the stock its one sweet looking gun, I'd love to have one

Kudu: It will be my first shotgun. I will use it for skeet and trap shooting often. My friend has a Beretta 391 and a large farm with lots of birds stopping by to chow down, so maybe 5 times for the year will visit the bush for some excursions, its mountainous and usually wet. Plus home defense is very much in the mix. Thats why I am considering the composite w/ duratouch.

I love the Cynergy but only two guys at the skeet club have invested the $250,000 Jamaican dollars $4032 US dollars for the Cynergy from our local dealers. So it is out there right now in terms of affordability. Most of the guys at the club shoot semi autos, Berreta being the favourite but the top shooters mostly shoot their O/U .

The X2/Browning gold are one of the best deal around as they currently have a $100 rebate on them I tought long and hard between one of those and my beretta the brownings are a little less expensive and just as good.
