Winchester regular and Super X

What is the difference between Winchester regular .38 special (in the white box) and .38 Special Super X? (In the gray box). I was told today that hte Super X was a little more powerful. But wouldn't that be .38+P. There is also .38+P rounds in white box and Super X is one more powerful than the other there?

I fired .38+P for the first time in my 1944 Colt Official Police earlier this evening. I put 5 regular .38 specials and 1 .38+P in the gun and fired away. I was told "+P has a lot louder, a lot more muzzel flash, and a lot more recoil." I didn't notice a whole lot of difference. I mean the difference was somewhat noticable, but from what I was told I was expecting a shocking BOOM!

I put a couple of full 6 shot rounds through the gun in +P and it didn't seem to be all that different from shooting regular .38s.
