What is the difference, if any, between the Winchester Ranger Talon and the new Ranger "T" series ammunition. I believe the Ranger Talon replaced the Ranger SXT, which itself was pretty much a renamed Black Talon for LEO use only.
Does anyone here use the Ranger series for personal as opposed to LEO use, I have found at least one source for Ranger SXT that will happily sell to private citizens. For the record I carried out my own testing of the Black Talon in 9mm head to head against UMC ball and Federal 9BP, the exit holes generated by the Talons had to be seen to be believed, I hope to have the pictures scanned soon and then you can make up your own minds. In the meantime can someone please clarify the whole Ranger thing for me.
