What are your thoughts on winchesters model 9410???

The classic model 94 chambered in a .410 shotgun caliber. The one I'm looking at is nice with checkering on the grips, tru-glow sights & extra choke tubes...NIB.

If I understand right these (9410's) were made only a couple of years and are now out of production with the entire 94 line.

YOUR THOUGHTS???:)

Seem like they'd be awfully handy.

With slugs, they'd probably do alright on smaller deer at close range too.

Seems like they would be nice, but a much cheaper way to go would be the Mossberg 410 pump. Winchesters have a premium on them nowadays.

The 9410 is a nice little lever 410....Unfortunately, with Winchester going out of business early last year, the prices have skyrocketed way out of control. Some dealers seem to think that they are gold plated !! Luckily i got mine in late 05, but wish i had gotten the one with the chokes... I believe they came in 2 different styles, one a vent rib and one with chokes, 2 different barrel lengths as well. If i were in the market for one now, think i'd wait till the prices level off to a little more acceptable $$$
