Can someone tell me where this rod goes?
1494X Carrier Spring. I think from a pic I received.
Hope pic works. I think I have figured out the rest.
I took rifle apart even the cartridge guides.
Its been a few days

Cowboy_mo, we have some sort of computer glitch going around, occasionally wiping out posts.

oldiron2, don't feel bad. I totally disassembled an old rusty bring-back from Mexico; left it lying around for a couple of years, and danged near went nuts trying to figure out how to get the lever in and linked.

Some stuff littering my hard drive, the 1494X is the second part below the receiver in the exploded view.

You should not have removed the cartridge guides, the gun may not feed well once you get it all back together.

I tried to reassemble mine, after about 3 minutes, I said " This goes to the gunsmith ".
