I know there have been alot of posts about the Winchester model 94 30-30, so please bear with me. My father would like to sell his and I believe that it is a pre 1964, however there is no serial number that I can see. This should be by underneath by the stock. Is there another place that I might find it? I have attached some pics for reference. Thank in advance

On that vintage gun, the serial should be visible in the first photo, stamped in the frame, just behind the wood fore-end.

If there are no traces, it has almost certainly been removed at some point.
As noted on another forum, ATF & LE consider this a strong No-No & essentially an illegal gun.

Whether or not YOU personally obliterated the serial is not the issue, and possession alone COULD get you into some serious explaining & confiscation.
