The 30 -30 is one of my favorite calibers to hunt with for deer sized game . However , Im sure the 25-35 would do fine too . I' just like the older calibers for some reason , call it nostalgia I guess .

I have long wanted a 25-35 AI. With the Hornady LeverEvolution slugs I always thought it would be a pretty potent round, and might extent the range to 250-300 meters. You gotta reload though.
