Hello all,
This is my first post on here so hopefully it will make sense.
I got my second rifle recently, a 1957 Winchester model 70 .308
My first was a ruger 10-22 takedown so this is definitely a totally different beast.
The rifle is in good shape and has a really nice wood laminate stock, a jewel trigger, and a beasty 28" bull barel that appears to already have been tapped for iron sights.
I got a big scope for it and have now decided id also like to get into Palma competition shooting.
I got it for super cheap, about $600.
What would be a good entry level iron sight set up for this Winchester?
I'm thinking in the $300 range
