Today I picked up an old ... 1937 vintage ... Winchester model 67, .22 rifle. I need a bolt gun to shoot the CB rounds; the CB .22 shorts were shot today. The CB rounds are quieter and not alarming to neighbors if it is needed to cull some of the property damaging and pesky squirrels around here! The rifle shot well offhand today inbetwixt rainstorms. The CB shorts even worked shooting small steel plates at 25 yards, which took me by surprise due to the low velocity in regard to the sights being set for .22 long most likely. I even knocked over a few steel bowling pins that most can’t do with a .22 long, but I was able to hit the small top section that helps.
I like my new little, baby Winchester! A little video of her in action below.
I just did some research, and since my rifle has finger grooves, it is a 1934 vintage model!
