I have two in .308's, a rifle and a carbine. Both are great shooters and more than accurate enough for deer hunting. I compeletly disassemble and clean mine before and after the deer season, do this and you will have no problems. Watch the magazine don't drop it or bend the lips. I reload all my ammo for these using small base dies, ammo functions perfectly. They have a rep for jaming, normally caused by people to lazy to clean them. If your's jams, clean it and check the magazine. A little secret, if it jams because it is not throwing the fired case out of the action, replace the extractor spring in the sliding piece in the bolt face with a new one or stronger spring. Some of these weaken over time and don't hold the case head with enough force until it moves all the way back and the ejector kicks it out.
