My first .22 when I was 14 yrs. old was a Winchester mod. 69a. It was stolen from me one time, and I missed it ever since. However, I acquired another for $12.50 at a Sherrif's auction in OKC about 35 yrs. ago. It didn't have a trigger guard on it then, and I gave up looking. However, that was long before the internet arrived with forums like this that reach out to a much larger audience.
