I'm trying to replace the rear sight (folding type, without elevator) on a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight. Marbles, Lyman, and Williams all produce acceptable substitutes for the original one, but what height? Son #1 recently bought a 1963 vintage Featherweight in .30-06 but the rear sight was missing...he'd like to replace it with a folding one from the above manuf.'s. The rifle has the original front sight, ramp and hood still in place.
