I'm having problems finding a good front sight bead. I got one from a local shop but don't think its the right thread. The owner said it should be 3-56 but not totally sure. I had to file it down to the right length but it still didn't want to go in. I would like to stay with a brass bead. Does anyone know what thread size and where to get one? I'm hooked on the winchester 97.
