Winchester 95 in 401

Does anyone know of a place that is reworking new model 95's to the .401 cartridge? I remember seeing one in the Rifle magazine but don't remember who did the work.

Alex. I think you mean the .405 Win. The .401 was an almost pistol like round for the Winchester modeo 07.
I saw a custom gun giveaway in RIFLE, but that one was .375 Hawk/Scovill. All they sais was it was made by Z-Hat Custon of Casper, Wyoming.
I don't have an address or phone number. I guess you could chase them down through information. Maybe they have a web site.
Anyway, that seems to be a place that will work on 95's.
