Just got this rifle and am wondering how to strip it down for cleaning. I never had a lever action rifle before, although I've used a 30-30 in the past.
There is a large flathead screw on the left side of the receiver, so i figured thois was the take-down screw. I am still to chicken to find out if this is the case. It's a beautiful little gun, and I cannot wait to shoot it. Apparently it was built in the 1960's. Any info/help/step-by-step breakdown would be greatly appreciated!
