My Winchester 94AE (.357 Mag, 16" carbine) has a yucky trigger, but otherwise is a great little rifle. The trigger has "play" in it: you can pull it back quite a bit before it actually lets the hammer fall. I don't understand why they'd make the trigger like this. I think they deliberately made the trigger pull a lot longer than it had to be. Anyone else notice this?
