Winchester 94 Stocks

I feel as if I should know the answer to this for certain. But, let me toss it out there. Is the Ranger the only 94 with a non-Walnut hardwood stock? Thanks in advance!
 
To the best of my knowledge yes, but there have been several million 94's made and anything is possible. It wouldn't surprise me if a few others may have been stocked in hardwood at various times, but have never seen any other than the Ranger. I have seen a few come from the factory with laminated wood and some 94's with factory synthetic. Some in 30-30 and a few of the 444's were synthetic stocked.
 
AFAIK, it's the only regular-production post-64 Model 94 so stocked.

Some pre-64's were stocked with "alternate" woods, like gumwood, etc. - and, of course, other types of wood could always be special ordered through the Custom Shop.
