Winchester 94 30-30 DOB?

Probably 1948. The reference book I have shows records as being "not available" for 1943-1947 inclusive.

Last number shown as being made in 1942 was 1221289. The last number recorded for 1948 was 1500000 which I believe was extensively engraved and presented to President Truman.
 
Sweet, thank you. I picked it up today at the gun show today. Classic. One guy noticed it and told me it was probably made in the 40's because the forend stock extended further than newer models. Guess he was right. You never can tell what is true and what is nonsense from dudes at gunshows... unless you already know. I heard plenty of BS today:rolleyes:

Yeah I tried to look at that but the computer at work blocks it. It blocks most gun-related sites, but not this one. Go figure.
