I'd go $400ish for one in good condition, more for a .284, much more for a pre '64 .284.
The "pros" of the gun are that it seems to be everything a modern lever should be, but it has a few "cons" also.
The lever operated bolt action is loooong. The short 19" carbines are still long, and the 22" barrel can be a bit nose heavy compared to most guns. Also the path from the finger to the primer is a long one. Opinions on trigger pull and lock time vary from ok to not so good, but I never met anyone who thought the trigger was great.
