Winchester 75?

Hi guys,
My grandpa has a Winchestrr Model 75 22LR with what I think is a 28" barrel and peep sights. He has the original sling, magazine, sights etc. Just wanted to get some info on when they were made etc.

They are a wonderful rifle for club level shooting. I've only seen a few sporters, but at one time, the match rifles were pretty common at small bore matches. They usually have beautiful Walnut stocks, checkered steel but plate and either single load mag adapter, 5 round and 10 round magazines.

In the higherarchy of Winchester rim fire rifles, the Model 75 was just below the Model 52 as far as cost and for part of its life was made concurrently with the 52.
