Winchester 70 Laredo

I saw a Winchester 70 rifle at the gun store Saturday in 300 Win Mag. It appeared to have a Bell & Carlson stock, and bull barrel with a BOSS system. He wanted $699. It was named Laredo. I can't find it on the Winchester website so does anyone know anything about these?? I really like it.

Yep, it was mfg'd around 4-5 years ago, and is a good piece.......the stock is a HS Precision,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
$699.00, is about the going rate.......IF you can find one.

My info states that this model was manufactured in 1997 and
1998. It featured claw extraction and controlled round feeding.
The 1998 models had a fluted barrel. I believe the 300 Win Mag
was discontinued after 1997. The Blue book rates this at $665.00
if it grades at 100%,98%-$560.00, 95%-$450.00, 90%-$350.00.
 
Hmmm that is interesting. He has this rifle in his new rifle section of his store and this gun dealer is usually pretty honest. Usually his prices are a little below most people's retail, so he seems a little high on this one. This one didn't have fluted barrel and it appeared to be parkerized.
