Winchester 67 & Remington 41---

Does the Remington model 41 .22 rifle have the same design as the
Winchester model 67 where the barrel and receiver are all made
in one piece ?
Aren't these two rifles pretty much the same and which would be
the most desired ?

Thanks

Can't address the design questions, but I can tell you that anything marked "Winchester" has more resale appeal than almost any COMPARABLE firearm marked "Remington." Sometimes that doesn't make much sense from a quality standpoint, but it is a fact of the gun marketplace.

Another issue is that the Win 67 was in production much longer than the Rem 41 and parts, while expensive, are much more likely to be available.

Hmm...I've had a Model 67 in my possession since I was 14 years old in 1957 and I've never paid any attention to the barrel/receiver union method. Interesting thing to be aware of, though.
