Winchester 67 question

I have a Winchester Model 67 that has a steel butt plate and no finger grooves on the fore arm. There are Winchester Proof Marks on the left hand side of the breech and the bolt. On the right side, there is a stamp that appears to be an arm with a sword, beneath which is " NP ". Farther out, to the muzzle end is stamped " .22' ". Farther yet, is stamped " .610' ". Lastly, there is stamped " 8 Tons " in somewhat bigger letters.
There are two tapped holes behind the factory rear sight, and two tapped holes in front of it. I do not know if they are original to this model. It is unlike the other Model 67 that has been in our family for over 60 years. I would appreciate any information you could provide. Thanks, Hominy
