Winchester 56 .22 short

No pics, but I saw one at a garage sale that was rusted up, pitted barrel and a sanded up stock. It was in REALLY rough condition. The asking price was $25, but I have no real use for something like that. I was curious if there was any real value to this gun or if it was just another casualty of time and misuse.

In the condition described it would have no real value. However, I'd have bought it for $25 as long as it would function and looked safe to shoot.

I think it would have to sit in some penetrating oil before that could even be considered. It was missing the clip as well. I googled it and saw that the .22 short was rare so I though it might be worth going back for later.
