winchester 190 problem

can anyone tell me how to lighten the trigger pull on my 190? my scale only goes to 6lbs and the trigger pull is way more than that. thanks in advance,jim
 
That rifle is amenable to some polishing and spring lightening just like any other sear/hammer arrangement, but I suggest a lot of study before starting in. A bit too much off and you can end up with the gun going full auto. Also, note that replacement parts for the hammer, sear, and spring will easily cost $40, so take care.
