winchester 1895 takedown

I am very interested in buying a Winchester model 1895 takedown rifle. My question is can they be tightened? I know my 1897 shotguns have a tightening nut that can be unlocked and turned in the event that the joint becomes loose (which ive never had to do), and from pictures I have seen it looks like the rifles have a similar feature. Can someone please verify this and explain how the tightening is done?
Thanks!

They can be tightened to a point, but one that is loose because of badly worn receiver or barrel threads may be beyond help.

95 Take down

I have one, had for 40 + years. I could not get it apart. Used Wd40, Pb Blaster
and Kroil, no dice. Took it to my Smith he got it apart. Cleaned it up, I don't
take it apart all the time but it is still stiff. Mitch said it was probly never broke
down since left factory
