I've got a 1300, hunter grade, wood-stocked, 20 gauge. It was originally purchased as a "try gun" or "hand-off gun" for friends, GF, kids, etc. to see if they like upland game and clay. Birch (I think) stocks covered with a bad walnut stain job.
Functional, reliable, easy to swing and point. I actually like it. Mine has had 500-600 shells through it without a hick-up. It is definitely smoother now than when new.
I have had target, and pheasant/grouse loads through it as well as the standard "Ohio" deer slugs.
Do I have confidence in the gun? Yes, definitely. Would I buy it again? No, if just because it is discontinued and parts will be tough.
Also, it mostly sits now, because the list of people above have found prettier guns in my safe.
