Winchester 1300 questions

I have a 1300 w/18 inch cyl barrel, dont much like the truglo and would like iron sights, not ghost ring put on...anyone else had this done?

Gun is kind of ugly with triple x pachmayr pad, but love the 3 inch mags and gun is prtty bad kicker without it...any suggestions for a hard kicking shotgun like mine?

A good, and inexpensive "fix" for a hard recoiling shotgun, is to buy a new Limbsaver elastomeric polymer recoil pad.

These pads get rave reviews for the amount of felt recoil reduction.
Remington sells the Limbsaver for their guns under the "R3" name, and they claim a 30% reduction in felt recoil.

People who've tried the Limbsaver say that it makes Magnum shells feel like field loads.
