Winchester 1300 featherweight

I love the way this shotgun feels and the gun store by me has one that is currently priced at 400, but the owner says he's willing to work with me. How much is this shotgun worth? It's in immaculate condition.
 
2010 blue book lists the XTR at $260 in 98% condition. AS new in box $300 would be top dollar in my opinion. Book lists a 100% gun at $300
 
I recently paid $395 for a like-new Defender. Pretty sure it was unfired. Had light-colored wood stocks, no dings, rust or scratches. Pretty sure I paid too much but the gotta-have-a-Winchester mindset is messing with the market.
