Couple weeks ago we were talking about how to tighten the mag tube in a 9422.
Here's another little thing to look for. My 9422 started not working sometimes. No feed from the tube.
Take out the shells and put em back an it would work fine. Then 2-3 mags later, same thing.
Sunday I took the thing down and looked down the mag tube. Everything fine. THEN I pushed a brush down the tube.
AHA! A little funny looking loopy thing was visible. Just enough to stop the shells from dropping. Worked it out and it was the teensy little steel friction ring from the inner mag tube. Came off at some time and lurked down at the bottom of the tube.
Fished it out, put it back on the plunger and everything OK now.
Apparently, it would tilt at times and stop the shells. Then next time it would be perfectly round and let them drop.
