Win 73 shootability question

My brother has a Win 73, made in the 1880's (if I remember right). It's been reblued ad has had enough other work done on it to render it's collector value low. It's 32-20 (if I remember right). The barrel is warn but other than that it is in very good mechanical condition. We would like to shoot it. Is reloading (lightly) our only option? Is the current Black Hills Cowboy stuff too hot for this gun?

Patrick, insert the standard disclaimer here: Without being able to look at it first it is hard to say, yadayada. :)
The factory "cowboy" loads should be safe to shoot in it if it is good mechanical condition. If it were mine........I'd shoot it. ;)
