Win 296 and Lee Auto Drum

I've been loading 44 mag with the Win 296 and having a lot of leakage with the Auto Drum Powder Measure. I tried switching out with another drum but get the same results. If you over tighten the drum for no leaks it doesn't throw consistent loads. Usually way less powder.

Does anyone use the Auto Disk measure and have better luck with way less leakage? I think I would need the double disk for the 180g loads but the 240g loads would work with the single disk.

Messy stuff

Replace it with an RCBS Uniflo and never look back.
I see that Uniflow is a powder thru type measure. It must have the same threads as the Lee right?

I am going to try the graphite thing first. Another poster @ Glock Talk said to tape up the back plate of the dispenser too. Not an elegant solution, but a solution none the less.

Unclenick has it , I used some spray graphite and it allowed me to get the insert a little tighter to reduce the leakage . Be worned that those graphite spray cans just blast a bunch of BLACK graphite out just like spray paint so be ready and don’t do it over anything you don’t want a black film on . Worked great though .

I ended up using the powdered graphite in the puff style bottle and it did help. I also put a small strip of electrical tape on the back plate and that also helped some.

I still got some leakage, but its way better. I am sure that just the nature of the beast with Win 296 or H110. It is what it is I guess.

Thanks for the help folks.
